Got this for my apartment since I can't drill into the walls and they've been solid for months. The adhesive it comes with is terrible. Shelf fell in the middle of the night on the first night I installed it. Instead I bought some command strips that are are made to hold heavier objects and they work super well. Haven’t had any issues with the shelf since. It can hold multiple glasses or water bottles without any issue. Highly recommend getting command strips instead that hold a heavier weight to avoid any problems. I have it attached to the side of my dresser next to my bed and I love it.

Honestly I wouldn't trust these to just stick with the double sided adhesive. I cleaned the walls and they still didn't stick tightly so I knew I had to use the screws it came with for extra reinforcement and that worked out just fine. You have to think about the type of paint that's on your walls.
