I bought a more expensive square hoping it would be precise in it's perpendicularity but it is not. The angle was acute by about .04" (a bit less than 3/64") over the run of it's 24 Inch leg and probably good enough for most carpentry. Don’t listen to the negative reviews, the people that wrote those don’t understand a framing square.. they go out of square when they are dropped.. they are used for rough framing.. your not building pianos.. they are easily adjusted back in square with a center punch... for the money this square is just what I wanted.. light weight and easily readable .. if you want a square that is more accurate than you are, get a starrett.. I’m a carpenter and this will serve me fine..
